Title:
INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE AIR SUPPLY CONTROL DEVICE AND AIR SUPPLY CONTROL METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/108549
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
When light load operations are performed during a manual forced regeneration of a DPF (7), an actuator controller (48) sets an EGR valve (32) to a completely closed state and a variable turbo nozzle (23) to a completely closed state, forming a bypass path (24), and, when the fuel injection amount is 0, changes the EGR valve (32) from the completely closed state to a completely open state, and the variable turbo nozzle (23) from the completely closed state to a completely open state. By this means, even during manual forced regeneration, surging in the exhaust gas turbine supercharger (6) when the pressure of the supply air oscillates can be suppressed. Further, when the amount of fuel injected into the engine (2) is no longer 0, the actuator controller (48), by means of decreasing the degree of opening of the variable turbo nozzle (23) and the EGR valve (32) according to the increase in the amount of fuel injected, incompletely burns the fuel and suppresses the increase of particulate matter in the exhaust gas.
