Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to control turbo lag while suppressing torque reduction occurring in an acceleration-transient condition of a supercharged condition accompanying an increase in required load. In a designated steady state, in order to achieve maximum heat efficiency, engine-compression ratio is set at εm and ignition timing at Th. In contrast, in a transient condition from a non-supercharged state to a supercharged state accompanying an increase in required load, compared to the engine-compression ratio of εm and ignition timing Tm in the steady state, the engine-compression ratio is corrected to a high compression range of εh and the ignition timing is corrected to a lag-side timing of Th, thereby reducing cooling loss and increasing exhaust energy and accordingly controlling response lag of the increase in supercharging pressure.
