Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce a computing load. An internal-combustion-engine control device equipped with: a feedback controller (FBC) for determining the control input of an internal combustion engine using a feedback control in a manner such that the output values of a plurality of control amounts pertaining to an internal combustion engine (DE) each approach corresponding target values; and a reference governor (RG) for calculating future predicted values of a plurality of quantities of state of the internal combustion engine by using a model of a closed-loop system including the internal combustion engine and the feedback controller, and correcting the target values imparted to the feedback controller on the basis of limitations assigned to each of the predicted values and the plurality of quantities of state. Therein: the plurality of control amounts are controlled in coordination with the control of the internal combustion engine; and the reference governor (RG) calculates the future predicted values for the plurality of quantities of state in a pre-set order, and furthermore, keeps the future predicted values for the remaining quantities of state at a constant value during the interval when calculating the future predicted value for a quantity of state among the plurality of quantities of state.
