Abstract:
In order to address the problem of forming a stratified air-fuel mixture in a stable manner around a spark plug during a stratified combustion operation, the present invention is an internal combustion engine control device for controlling an internal combustion engine, and is characterized in that the internal combustion engine is provided with fluid injection valves provided along the axial direction of the spark plugs, and fuel injection valves configured as separate bodies from the fluid injection valves and provided in a direction intersecting the axial direction of the fluid injection valves, and the control device is equipped with a control unit that controls the fluid injection valves and the fuel injection valves such that during the compression stroke, fluid is injected from the fuel injection valves after fluid has been injected from the fluid injection valves.
