Abstract:
In order to suppress the generation of hydrocarbons in an internal combustion engine and reduce the manufacturing costs of an exhaust catalyst, this internal combustion engine control device 1 is provided with an ignition control unit that performs an ignition control for controlling an ignition plug 200 that ignites a fuel by discharging inside a cylinder 150 of an internal combustion engine 100. The ignition control unit performs the ignition control such that when the ignition plug 200 is igniting the fuel, a predetermined electrical energy for ignition is supplied to the ignition plug 200, and before the ignition plug 200 ignites the fuel, a predetermined amount of electrical energy for preheating is supplied to the ignition plug 200, the electrical energy for preheating being smaller than the electrical energy for ignition.
