Abstract:
This internal combustion engine ignition coil device comprises: an insulation case; an ignition coil device main body housed in the interior of the insulation case and having a coil assembled body, a center iron core disposed along the central axis of the coil assembled body on the inner side of the coil assembled body, a side iron core disposed on the outer side of the center iron core and the coil assembled body, and an elastic cover provided on the side iron core; an igniter which is housed inside the insulation case and controls energization of the coil assembled body; and a filling material that has been filled and solidified inside the insulation case. The elastic cover has a covering section which covers the side iron core and a protruding section which protrudes from the covering section and mitigates stress occurring on the filling material.
