Abstract:
An internal-combustion-engine ignition coil (1) includes a primary bobbin (2), a primary main coil (3A), a primary sub coil (3B), a secondary bobbin (42), and a secondary coil (4). Respective pre-winding ends (311, 312) of the primary main coil (3A), which serves as a pre-wound coil, and respective post-winding ends (321, 322) of the primary sub coil (3B), which serves as a post-wound coil, are attached to a connection part (22) of the primary bobbin (2). A shortest distance (r1) from a central axis (O) of a winding tube (21) to each of the pre-winding ends (311, 312) is shorter than a shortest distance (r2) from the central axis (O) of the winding tube (21) to each of the post-winding ends (321, 322).
