Abstract:
An internal combustion engine ignition device configured to control the value of a voltage to be output to a direct-current booster circuit with respect to a target voltage value applied thereto from a ripple-suppressing capacitor such that an output voltage of the direct-current booster circuit is lowered by a substantially equal amount to an amount of increase in the application voltage from the ripple-suppressing capacitor due to charging of energy therein in the event of dielectric breakdown.
