Abstract:
Provided is an internal-combustion engine starting device, wherein a control unit carries out, on an electric motor, control for implementing: a first starting mode in which, after the internal-combustion engine is started by increasing, via the electric motor, the rotation speed of the internal-combustion engine to a first rotation speed (NE1) on the basis of a first control rule, the rotation speed of the internal-combustion engine is converged to an idle rotation speed (IN), which does not exceed the first rotation speed (NE1), on the basis of the first control rule; and a second starting mode in which, after the internal-combustion engine is started by increasing, via the electric motor, the rotation speed of the internal-combustion engine to a second rotation speed (NE2) that is higher than first rotation speed (NE1), the rotation speed of the internal-combustion engine is converged to the idle rotation speed (IN), which does not exceed the second rotation speed (NE2), on the basis of a second rule, which is different from the first control rule.
