Abstract:
Provided is an internal-combustion engine starting device in which a constraint on an anti-motor side portion of an output shaft to be made thinner than the inner diameter of an inner ring part is eliminated, and a member for restricting axial movement of the output shaft toward the anti-motor side is not additionally required as a separate component. In an internal-combustion engine starting device (1): an outer helical spline (11) is provided with an outer projection portion (12); an inner helical spline (20) is provided with a both-side open recessed groove portion (21) and a one-side open recessed groove portion (22); the outer projection portion (12) is engaged with the one-side open recessed groove portion (22); the outer diameter of an inner small diameter portion (24) of an output shaft (4) is smaller than the inner diameter of the top land of the outer helical spline (11); the outer diameter of an inner large diameter portion (33) of the output shaft (4) is larger than the inner diameter of the top land of the outer helical spline (11); and the axial length of the inner small diameter portion (24) is equal to or longer than the axial length of the outer projection portion (12).
