Abstract:
A communicating hole 35 which communicates between a space portion 32 and the outside of a cover member 3 is formed penetrating through the inside of a cylindrical portion 34 of the cover member 3, and a sealing cap 56 mates with and is retained in a distal end opening side of the communicating hole. The sealing cap is provided with: a cap main body 57 through which a first ventilation hole 57f is formed penetrating in an internal axial direction, and which latches with a communicating hole in an outer peripheral wall 57c; a supporting portion 58 which mates from the outside with a recessed groove 57a formed in an outer edge surface of the cover member side of the cap main body; and a ventilation filter 59 which is disposed on a bottom surface 57i side of the recessed groove, and which is held in a pinched state between the cap main body and the supporting portion. By this means, an increase in the internal pressure of the space portion between the cover member and an electric motor can be effectively suppressed, and satisfactory mounting performance can therefore be obtained.
