Abstract:

[Problem] To provide an internal combustion engine provided with a power-generating member that can, even while the internal combustion engine is idling, efficiently convert the vibration energy thereof to electric energy, and that can minimize the space of circuit configuration components such as piezoelectric elements and rectifiers. [Solution] In an internal combustion engine (11) of a traveling vehicle, a power-generating member (52) is provided to a securing bolt (26) of a camshaft support member (25) which bears the action of a camshaft (20) and supports the camshaft (20), and a power storage device (152) is provided for storing the power generated by the power-generating member (52) through the action of the camshaft (20).
