Abstract:
This internal combustion engine is provided with: an engine main body (11) in which a scavenge trunk (22) and an exhaust manifold (23) are provided; an EGR system (12) which recycles part of the exhaust gas emitted from the exhaust manifold (23) as combustion gas into the scavenge trunk (22); an auxiliary blower (13) which supplies combustion gas to the scavenge trunk (22); and a discharge device (14) which discharges into an internal combustion passage combustion gas leaked from a gap (a rotation shaft area) of a noncontact seal (96) in the auxiliary blower (13).
