Abstract:
A front cover (7) forms an oil-tight space with an end face on one end side of an internal combustion engine body in a cylinder column direction. A bulging part (20) is formed on the lower part of the front cover (7) and protrudes in a direction away from the end face on the one end side of the internal combustion engine body in the cylinder column direction to increase the volume between the front cover (7) and the internal combustion engine body. The internal combustion engine can increase the oil storage amount between the front cover (7) and the internal combustion engine body while suppressing an oil level rise of the oil stored between the front cover (7) and the internal combustion engine body.
