Description:
Internal combustion motor of the type with ignition plug means and aspiration valve control admission comburent system of the type with electronic control of the operation.

This invention has for object an internal combustion motor (J.C. motor) of the type with ignition plug means and aspiration valve control admission comburent system of the type with electronic control of the operation.

This invention is conveniently particularly applicable even if not exclusively, in small vehicles with two and three wheels as mopeds, motorcycles and scooters.

Actually these internal combustion motors are endowed of supply systems able to mix the combustible and the comburent in opportune manner and to shutter the flow of such mix depending of the exigencies of the user.

In the traditional supply carburetors the combustible and comburent mix thanks to the created depression by the aspiration phase, in the admission duct. Other solutions provide injection system in which the

2 2 control of the combustible quantity to inject in such conduct, is

2 3 entrusted by an electronic system.

24 In both the systems however, for shuttering the mix flow, the driver acts

2 5 in direct manner on the flow of the comburent (air).

2 6

2 7 In fact the driver modifies mechanically the position of throttle valve

2 8 means to shutter the flow of the comburent.

The supply system adapts then with traditional techniques or thanks to the electronic control assistance system (electronic board) the stoichiometric ratio to the exigencies of the motor. In both the cases however, the comburent quantity and consequent mix that arrives to the motor, is linked to the mechanical sensibility of the driver that opens manually or closes more or less said throttle valve, or controls the air quantity that is introduced in the combustion chamber of the cylinder. This causes unavoidably performance leakage of the motor in dynamic regime mainly in two stroke motors which use is prevalent in mopeds, motorcycles and scooters to which it is directed prevalently the present invention . A rapid and excessive opening of the comburent valve (throttle-valve) by the driver, flood the motor, slows the acceleration and increases notably the comsumptions in some conditions, without considering the danger "to wash" the cylinders, plug wetting, motor extinction and extreme consequent difficulty of its successive ignition. The progression of the vehicle results furthermore in these conditions, often discontinuous and this is very dangerous in poor conditions of road bottom adherence.

Scope of the present invention is to obviate to the mentioned drawbacks.

This and other scopes are reached with the present invention as claimed solving the exposed problems by means of an internal combustion motor with ignition plug system and control valve of the comburent admission quantity (air), of the type . with electronic board management and - sensors parameter means of the motor performance, with electric direct signals output to said electronic board management for successive

1 elaboration to control and command of the operating system of the

2 motor, characterized in that:

3 - The comburent admission valve (air) :

4 - is at least partially independent from the accelerator/decelerator

5 manual command ;

6 - is operated by motorization means responsible of said

7 accelerator/decelerator manual command and of the conditions of

8 detected parameters by the respective sensors of the system. 9

I 0 Advantageously, said electronic board is commanded by means of:

I I - at least first sensors angular position means of motor rotation , of 1 2 its rotational speed and position of the command of the accelerator;

1 3 - at least second sensor air and combustible pressure means

1 4 downwards the throttle-valve [flow comburent admission and regulation

1 5 (air) valve], 6 - at least third external air temperature sensor means, motor 7 temperature, air aspiration temperature, command starter position. 8 9 The exclusive characteristic of such apparatus is to elaborate the 0 variable data received from the different transducers, confronting them 1 with a data series already prearranged on the grounds o f the 2 characteristics of the motor and regulate the opening of the admission 3 valve of the comburent (throttle-valve) via the servomotor, controlling 4 the exact placement of the throttle valve thanks to the respective 5 transducer. 6 Such system allows to correct the manual command errors of the 7 accelerator due. to the poor sensibility of the mechanical driving means. 8 In this way comburent/combustiblc mix is always correct, independent 9 of the operative conditions of the driver.

1 We have a benefit regarding the answer time of the motor and its fuel

2 comsumption.

3 . We can soften or linearize the power delivery of the motor, to improve

4 notably the driving and mainly the security avoiding adherence l acks

5 problems and even when we have a very high ratio power/weigh. 6

7 Other notable advantage of such system is to act as a speed limiter of the

8 motor.

9 The traditional systems limit the speed of the motor intervening on the 1 0 spark or on the combustible admission.

1 1 Reached the limitation speed such systems, provide to take-off the spark

I 2 and/or to close with an opportune solenoid valve the flow of the sole

1 3 combustible.

1 4 This cause a not correct actuation of the motor, a relevant augmentation

1 5 of noxious emission and consequent pollution.

1 6 Limiting the number of the turns with an electronic control of the

1 7 throttle valve as per this invention the noxious output level is

1 8 constrained under the maximum level prescribed by the antipollulion 1 9 n orm s.

2 0 Furthermore the motor operates always correctly. 2 1

2 2 With this invention is further possible to carryout an electronic control

2 3 of the starter and of the minimum motor.

24 A correct comburent/combustible mix is supplied regularly to the

25 combustion chamber, being not important the operative driving 2 6 conditions (driving means and/or the capacity of the driver) avoiding a 2 7 not correct actuation of the motor and a relevant augmentation of 2 8 noxious pollution.

Limiting the number of the turns with an electronic control of the throttle-valve is warranted a noxious output level under the prescribed maximum from the antipollution norms.

These and other advantages appear from the specified successive preferential solutions description of realization with the help of the accompanying drawings which particular of execution arc not to be considered a limitation but an example solely.
