Abstract:
Provided is an internal gear pump with which it is possible to achieve a decrease in size, weight, and cost, and to suppress, by controlling ejection pressure, the amount of liquid that is ejected during high-speed rotation. The internal gear pump (1) comprises: a pump casing (5a) including a trochoid (4) in which an inner-rotor (3) having a plurality of outer teeth is accommodated rotatably and in an eccentric state in an outer-rotor (2) having a plurality of inner teeth, with the outer teeth meshing with the inner teeth, and by which, between the inner teeth and the outer teeth, a suction-side volume chamber for suctioning a liquid and an ejection-side volume chamber for ejecting the liquid suctioned into the suction-side volume chamber are formed, the pump casing (5a) having formed a recess (8) in which the trochoid (4) is accommodated; and a cover (6) closing the recess (8). A discharge means (9) for discharging some of the liquid in the accommodating space of the trochoid (4) configured of the pump casing (5a) and the cover (6) is provided in communication with a liquid flow passageway (13) formed in a bottom surface of the recess (8). A housing (5b) accommodating the discharge means (9) and the pump casing (5) are integrally formed.
