Abstract:
A capsule endoscope (20) comprises: a plurality of function execution units (31, 32) which acquire information from within a subject; a battery (26) which supplies power to the plurality of execution units (31, 32); a switch unit (23), further comprising a plurality of switches (MS1, MS2) which independently control the supply of power to the respective function units (31, 32); a magnetic field sensor unit (21) which receives a control signal from outside the subject; and a power control unit (22) which controls the switch unit (23) according to the number of times that the magnetic field sensor unit (21) receives the control signal.
