Abstract:
An internal resistance calculation device equipped with: a voltage acquisition unit for acquiring the voltage of a secondary battery; a current acquisition unit for acquiring the current of a secondary battery; a switching determination unit for determining a switch has occurred between charging and discharging of the secondary battery, on the basis of the acquired current; a specification unit for specifying a standby interval, on the basis of a boundary frequency band in which diffusion impedance, which is caused by the diffusion process of a prescribed ion and constitutes part of the impedance spectrum of the secondary battery, contributes to the impedance of the secondary battery; and a resistance calculation unit for calculating the internal resistance of the secondary battery on the basis of the voltage and current acquired after the specified standby interval, when determined that a charging/discharging switch has occurred.
