Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of handling. Disclosed are an Internet of Things-based handling system and a method thereof. A rotating mechanism is comprised; the rotating mechanism is at least provided with two groups of gripping mechanisms; cameras are mounted on each group of gripping mechanisms; the cameras share a data platform; the cameras are configured to acquire the package category of a current express; the rotating mechanism is configured to switch the position of the gripping mechanisms according to the package category and select the gripping mechanisms matching the package category. According to the present invention, multiple groups of gripping mechanisms that can be selected and reversed are provided at the end of the same mechanical arm, the corresponding gripping mechanisms are called on the basis of the types of an express package in combination with image collection functions of the cameras, expresses of different package types are gripped at the same geographic position and adjacent gripping periods of time, and the sorting and handling efficiency is improved.
