Abstract:
An intersection area road network data generation method and apparatus, for a situation wherein an intersection area is connected to a plurality of roads (1-11, A, B, C, D, E). The intersection area road network data generation method comprises: obtaining data of road links (L1-L4, 808, 809, 811-818, 1003-1008) of each road (1-11, A, B, C, D, E) among the plurality of roads (1-11, A, B, C, D, E), the road links (L1-L4, 808, 809, 811-818, 1003-1008) comprising an entry link and an exit link; according to the data of the road links (L1-L4, 808, 809, 811-818, 1003-1008) of each road (1-11, A, B, C, D, E) among the plurality of roads (1-11, A, B, C, D, E), calculating coordinates of a meeting point of an extension line of the entry link of each road (1-11, A, B, C, D, E) and an extension line of the exit link of an adjacent road (1-11, A, B, C, D, E), the coordinates of the meeting point being coordinates of an intersection node (H, I, J, K, M), the adjacent road (1-11, A, B, C, D, E) being the road (1-11, A, B, C, D, E) adjacent to the road (1-11, A, B, C, D, E) in the counterclockwise direction when the country or region in which the intersection area is located follows the right-line rule, or the adjacent road (1-11, A, B, C, D, E) being the road (1-11, A, B, C, D, E) adjacent to the road (1-11, A, B, C, D, E) in the clockwise direction when the country or region in which the intersection area is located follows the left-line rule, two sequential intersection nodes (H, I, J, K, M) being end points of a link (819-823, 1009-1011) within the intersection. The number of intersection nodes (H, I, J, K, M) and links (819-823, 1009-1011) within the intersection among the generated intersection area road network data is relatively small, and the data size of the road network data is relatively small, so as to satisfy timeliness of the road network data for route planning, and improve road network data request time delay performance.
