Abstract:
The present disclosure provides an intra-annular mounting frame (10) that is roughly elliptical in shape and has outward flaring posts (16), which provides improved results in the repair of defective aortic valves. Also disclosed are surgical methods for implanting the elliptical intra-annular mounting frame.
