An intravascular ultrasound retracting mechanism, comprising a retracting support (1), as well as a clutch shaft (11) and a retracting shaft (12) rotatably connected to the retracting support (1). One end of the clutch shaft (11) is connected to a driving system, and the other end of the clutch shaft (11) is provided with a first half-clutch (14); one end of the retracting shaft (12) is provided with a second half-clutch (15) matching the first half-clutch (14), and the other end of the retracting shaft (12) is further provided with a mobile device capable of moving; the driving system is provided on the retracting support (1). During automatic retracting of an intravascular ultrasound catheter, the first half-clutch (14) and the second half-clutch (15) are combined, the driving system is started to transmit power to the clutch shaft (11), the clutch shaft (11) transmits the power to the retracting shaft (12), and the retracting shaft (12) rotates to drive the mobile device to move, thereby achieving automatic retracting of the intravascular ultrasound catheter. The intravascular ultrasound retracting mechanism uses a timing belt for power transmission so that an assembly clearance between parts is reduced, the structure is simple, and smooth operation can be achieved.
