Abstract:
An intrinsically safe oil-resistant and mud-resistant fireproof cable for an offshore platform and manufacturing process. The cable comprises a cable core wrapping layer (4), a cable shielding layer (5), an inner liner layer (6), an armor layer (7), and an outer sheath (8), each component thereof being sequentially disposed from inside to outside. The cable core wrapping layer is disposed with a fireproof conductor (1), and an insulating layer (2) and a filler (3) disposed on an outer layer of the fireproof conductor. Since a copper braid shielding structure is added to a cable structure, the cable has a low capacitor and low inductance, and in addition, the cable has an excellent shielding performance and mechanical protection performance, and ideal anti-electromagnetic field interference and anti-electric field coupling, effectively preventing possible sparks resulting from partial discharge generated by a change in an electromagnetic field. The present invention employs structure wrapped by a mica tape to reduce a risk of sparks resulting from an overloaded current carried by the cable. The mica tape is wrapped on a surface of a conductor, isolating oxygen from the conductor and effectively preventing possible sparks generated by a cable core.
