Abstract:
Disclosed is an intruding object identification device in which normalization processing circuits (97-m) perform normalization of position on a complex plane for complex demodulation signals from A/D converters (90-m), and, after normalization, output normalized complex demodulation signals to multi-dimension characteristic extractors (94-m). The multi-dimension characteristic extractors (94-m) calculate: characteristic quantities (fm-1) which change when intrusion by a person occurs; characteristic quantities (fm-2) which change when wind or rain occurs; and characteristic quantities (fm-3) which change when a spatially-isolated strong electric field region is present. Identifiers (96-m) identify that intrusion by a person has occurred on the basis of three-dimensional characteristic quantities (fm-1, fm-2, fm-3).
