Abstract:
This intrusion detection device (101) comprises a fragment calculation unit (103) and a determination unit (105). The fragment calculation unit (103) receives a fragmented packet as a reception packet according to an internet protocol suite. The determination unit (105) determines whether each entry included in a whitelist is a partially matching entry set in response to the reception packet. The transmission source IP address and the target portion payload indicated by a partially matching entry each match the transmission source IP address and payload indicated by the reception packet. The target portion payload is data present in a region within the payload of the partially matching entry, the region having as an origin point a position corresponding to a fragment offset indicated by the reception packet.
