Abstract:
Disclosed is an inverse current injection-type direct current blocking device and method using a vacuum gap switch. The direct current blocking device comprises: a main electric conduction unit including a main blocking switch that is a mechanical switch; an inverse current power source unit which is connected to an input port of the main electric conduction unit and generates a preconfigured inverse current; and an inverse current electric conduction unit for supplying an inverse current to an output port side of the main electric conduction unit. The inverse current power source unit also comprises: a first inverse current capacitor charged by voltage applied to the input port of the main electric conduction unit; a polarity reverse inductor for reversing a polarity of the first inverse current capacitor; and an inverse current power source unit switch for performing circuit connection to cause the polarity reverse inductor to reverse the polarity of the first inverse current capacitor.
