Abstract:
A cap (12) is formed by heating and pressurizing within a mold a resin composite. The cap (12) is provided with: a cylindrical barrel (14) having a spout (20) at the upper part thereof; a lid (16) for closing the spout (20); and a hinge (18) for pivotably connecting the barrel (14) and the lid (16). The lid (16) is provided with: a body (24) engaged with the upper part of the barrel (14); and a flange (26) protruding from the body (24) at the upper part thereof. The flange (26) is provided with a cutout (36). The cutout (36) and the hinge (18) are located at positions superposed on each other in the vertical direction. Preferably, in the cap (12), the ratio of the maximum width of the lid (16) to the maximum width of the barrel (14) is in the range of 1.01 to 3.00, inclusive.
