Abstract:
An inverted pendulum type moving body (1) provided with a frame (2) holding a travel unit (3) for movement, and also with a seating unit (4) mounted to the frame. The seating unit is configured so as to be movable between a use position in which the seating unit can support riding of a user and a stowage position different from the use position. The position of an object support section for supporting objects such as a person and a load can be changed according to conditions of use. When not in use, the object support section does not interfere with the user, so that convenience and the degree of freedom of use are enhanced.
