Abstract:
In an inverter apparatus (30), a case (40) is provided with a housing section (42) for housing an inverter circuit board (32), and the housing section (42) is divided into two spaces: a first housing section (42a), and a second housing section (42b). The first housing section (42a) has a shorter length (L1) from one external face among the external faces of the case (40) to an inner face of the case (40) opposing that external face than that of the second housing section (42a), is provided with heat radiation fins (44) extending outwards, and has switching elements arranged therein. The second housing section (42b) has a longer length (L2) from the one external face among the external faces of the case (40) to the inner face of the case (40) opposing that external face than that of the first housing section (42a), and has capacitors (61) arranged therein.
