Abstract:
An inverter circuit for driving a compressor is disclosed. The inverter circuit according to the present specification comprises: a power supply unit; a rectifying unit for converting an alternating-current voltage of the power supply unit into a direct-current voltage; a DC link capacitor electrically connected in parallel to the rectifying unit and storing power based on the direct-current voltage; a diode unit electrically connected in parallel to the rectifying unit and the DC link capacitor and driving a compressor by using the power stored in the DC link capacitor; and a control unit, wherein the control unit carries out conversion by using a plurality of rectifiers included in the rectifying unit in a load response mode of the compressor, and carries out conversion using a rectifier selected from among the plurality of rectifiers in a low power consumption mode of the compressor, thereby significantly reducing the power consumption used for driving the inverter.
