Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an inverter control device and a motor drive system with which it is possible to estimate accurately a rotational phase angle of a motor. [Solution] An inverter control device according to one mode of embodiment of the present invention is provided with an inverter main circuit, a current command generating unit, a voltage command generating unit, an estimating unit, and a high frequency superimposing unit. The inverter main circuit can be electrically connected to a prescribed rotary drive subject. The current command generating unit generates a current command. The voltage command generating unit generates a voltage command whereby the current output from the inverter main circuit is equal to the current command. The estimating unit calculates an estimated rotational phase angle of the rotary drive subject. The high frequency superimposing unit superimposes a high frequency onto the current command or the voltage command in accordance with a relationship between a characteristic value of the rotary drive subject and a threshold.
