Abstract:

Disclosed are: an inverter device which can achieve the reduction in recovery loss; an electric motor drive device; a refrigeration/air-conditioning device; and an electric power generation system. The inverter device comprises two or more arms (4) which can carry an electric current and shield an electric current, wherein at least one of the arms (4) has a parasitic diode and also has two or more switching elements connected in tandem with each other and a free-wheeling diode (9) connected in parallel with the switching elements.
