Abstract:
An inverter device (1) comprises an electric power conversion part (10) that generates an AC voltage that drives a motor (3), a load detection unit (21) that detects the load on the motor (3), and a driving control unit (20). The driving control unit (20): determines whether the motor (3) is in a light load state on the basis of an acceleration operation load, which is the load detected by the load detection unit during acceleration of the motor (3) in a normal driving mode, and determination reference data, which is the load detected by the load detection unit during acceleration of the motor in a data setting mode, which is different from the normal driving mode; controls the electric power conversion part (10) such that the driving speed of the motor (3) reaches a first speed when the motor (3) is in a light load state; and controls the electric power conversion part (10) such that the driving speed of the motor reaches a second speed that is lower than the first speed when the motor (3) is not in a light load state.
