Abstract:
There is provided an inverter device capable of further improving the cooling efficiency of a power semiconductor device so as to improve the conducting capacity of the invert device and reduce its size and having an excellent manufacturability. The inverter device includes a semiconductor chip constituting an arm of the inverter, a first conductor (33) joined with the anode side of the semiconductor chip, and a second conductor (35) joined with the cathode side of the semiconductor chip. The first conductor (33) and the second conductor (35) are arranged above a cooling device (22) for cooling the semiconductor chip so that the faying surface between the semiconductor chip anode side electrode and the first conductor (33) and the faying surface between the semiconductor chip cathode side electrode and the second conductor (35) are non-parallel to the surface of the cooling device (22).
