Abstract:
This inverter device converts a direct-current voltage input to two input terminals into an alternating-current voltage via first and second intermediate points and a filter unit, the inverter device comprising: first and second series circuits each having at least four switching elements; a first flying capacitor connected in parallel to two switching elements connected to the first intermediate point; a second flying capacitor connected in parallel to two switching elements connected to the second intermediate point; and a control signal generation circuit that generates a control signal for ON/OFF control of the switching elements in the first and second series circuits. When the number of flying capacitors per circuits of one phase is defined as k, the control signal generation circuit generates the control signal such that the voltage applied to the first and second flying capacitors becomes lower than (k+1) of the direct-current voltage.
