Abstract:
Provided, as one embodiment of the present invention, is an inverter that generates a plurality of alternating signals to be supplied to a motor that has a plurality of phases and a plurality of coils arranged at each of the phases. The inverter is a motor driving inverter characterized in comprising: a multi-level pulse-density modulator that modulates signals that fluctuate periodically and control the rotation of the motor; and a plurality of switching elements that generate each of the plurality of alternating signals, by being selected, and by having the ON/OFF of a direct current controlled by the output signals of the pulse-density modulator.
