Abstract:
Provided is an inverter-integrated electric compressor capable of highly efficient operation, while effectively cooling power switching elements. An inverter circuit unit 16 has a plurality of power switching elements 18 and a smoothing capacitor 19, and is accommodated inside an inverter accommodation unit 6 formed in the axial direction of a housing 2. The power switching elements 18 are disposed radially at positions avoiding locations corresponding to a drive shaft 13 of a motor 8, and have a heat exchange relationship with a partition wall 3 of the housing 2. The smoothing capacitor 19 is disposed in a position surrounded by the power switching elements 18.
