Abstract:
An inverter system whose control program can be written easily conforming to a variety of specifications. The system comprises a control unit and a display (6) such as a parameter unit having a display section and an input section. The control unit includes: a CPU (1) as an arithmetic means for controlling a converter section (31) and an inverter section (33); a memory (2); a memory (3) as a first memory section for storing an inverter control basic program; a parameter storage section (4) for storing parameters; and an APS/W storage section (5) as a second storage unit for storing a plurality of inverter control application programs. The inverter control application programs are transferred from outside the inverter system via a communication means to the APS/W storage section (5).
