Abstract:
A small-sized inexpensive inverter transformer for multiple lamps for generating
output voltages including an output voltage of opposite polarity while maintaining
a high insulation reliability. The inverter transformer (1) comprises a core
(3) and bobbins (5A to 5D) wound with primary and secondary windings (6, 7). The
bobbins are paired, and the pairs of adjacent bobbins include first bobbin pairs
(5A-5B, 5C-5D) in which the polarities of the output voltages included in the
secondary windings wound around the bobbins are different and a second bobbin
pair (5B-5C) in which the polarities of the output voltages are the same. Insulation
distance forming means (12A, 12B) are provided between first bobbin pairs (5A-5B,
5C-5D) so that the distances between the secondary windings (7) of the bobbins
(5A-5B, 5C-5D) constituting the first bobbin pairs (5A-5B, 5C-5D) may be longer
than the distance between the secondary windings (7) of the bobbins (5B, 5C) constituting
the second bobbin pairs (5B, 5C).
