Abstract:
Disclosed is a low-cost inverter unit protective cover for a lighting device, which has enhanced versatility. Specifically disclosed is an inverter unit protective cover (40) for a lighting device (20), which protects an inverter unit (33) that is fitted to the lighting device (20) wherein a plurality of light sources are contained in a chassis (22). The inverter unit protective cover (40) is characterized in that: a cover main body (41) which has a ceiling portion (42) that covers a surface of the inverter unit (33), said surface being on the reverse side of the chassis (22)-side surface, and a peripheral wall portion (43) that covers the circumference of the inverter unit (33) is configured of a sheet that is formed from an insulating material; and a folding guide line (45) is provided on the boundary between the ceiling portion (42) and the peripheral wall portion (43).
