An invoice verifying method and apparatus, a financing checking method and apparatus, and a device and a medium. The invoice verifying method comprises: after obtaining a request to be verified, performing character recognition on an invoice image to be verified by using the optical character recognition technology, to obtain invoice information; performing authority identification on the invoice image to be verified according to the invoice information, and obtaining an identification result, the identification result comprising true and false; if the identification result is true, performing verified frequency inquiry on the invoice image to be verified; andif the result of the verified frequency inquiry is first-time verification, passing verification of the invoice image to be verified. After character recognition is performed on the invoice image to be verified by using the optical character recognition technology, authority identification is performed according to the invoice information and whether an invoice corresponding to the invoice image to be verified is true and effective or not is determined according to the verified frequency inquiry, thereby ensuring the efficiency and the accuracy of invoice verification.
