Title:
ION ANALYZER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/014487
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This ion analyzer for generating product ions by emitting a prescribed type of radical onto sample-component-derived precursor ions and analyzing the product ions is provided with: a reaction chamber (2); a radical supply unit (5, 6) for generating radicals and supplying the same to the reaction chamber; a radical temperature acquisition unit (911, 912) for acquiring the temperature of radicals supplied to the reaction chamber; a standard material supply unit (11) for supplying, to the reaction chamber, a prescribed amount of prescribed precursor ions generated from a standard material having a known radical addition reaction activation energy; an ion measurement unit (92) for measuring the amount of prescribed product ions generated from the standard-material-derived precursor ions through reaction with the radicals; a radical reaction amount calculation unit (93) for using the amount of product ions to determine the amount of radicals that have reacted; and a radical density calculation unit (94) for determining the radical density on the basis of the radical temperature, the activation energy, and the amount of radicals that have reacted.
