Abstract:
To alleviate mutual interference between electrical fields which a plurality of ion emission apparatuses emit, and to emit a high concentration of ions, an ion emission device comprises a duct (40) which forms a flow path of a gaseous medium, a first ion emission apparatus (15) which emits ions from a first region of the wall of the duct, and a second ion emission apparatus (25) which emits ions from a second region of the wall of the duct. The ion emission device further comprises an electrical field alleviation unit (45) which divides the flow path space which includes a region between the first region and the second region into a first ion emission apparatus side and a second ion emission apparatus side. The electrical field alleviation unit is configured from a conductive material for making the electrical field alleviation unit equipotential.
