Abstract:
Provided is inexpensive ion exchange equipment having greater ion exchange capacity. The ion exchange equipment comprises: a raw water tank 1 accommodating a liquid to be treated, the liquid to be treated comprising a liquid containing impurity ions; a treatment tank 2 accommodating a treatment material, the treatment material containing exchange ions comprising ions exchangeable with the impurity ions; and an ion exchanger 3 allowing passage of the impurity ions from the raw water tank 1 to the treatment tank 2 and passage of the exchange ions from the treatment tank 2 to the raw water tank 1. The molar concentration is higher in the treatment material in the treatment tank 2 than in the liquid to be treated in the raw water tank 1.
