Abstract:
Provided is an ion generating device that can prevent liquid adhering to a housing when a mist is sprayed from penetrating to the inside of the housing.
Positive ions and negative ions each generated separately by an ion generating means provided within a blower housing (1) are blown in a prescribed direction through a blower opening (17), and also, when a mist SW (102) is operated by pressing, a liquid which has been made into a missed state within a tank housing (5) provided so as to be connected to the blower housing (1) is sprayed in a direction identical to the direction in which the ions are blown (the prescribed direction) through a spray opening (62) provided in the tank housing (5). In addition, a step (40) is provided between the tank housing (5) and the blower housing (1); therefore, liquid adhering to the surface of the tank housing (5) flowing downward is prevented from penetrating from the blower opening (17) into the inside of the blower housing (1).
