Abstract:
An ion generator is removably mounted to a louver (121) of an air-blowing port (120) provided in a vehicle. The ion generator is provided with: a casing (21) having a front surface part (22), and a rear surface part (23) facing the front surface part (22) at a distance and extending from one end (23m) to another end (23n); an ion-generating part (41) accommodated in the casing (21) and generating ions; and an attachment part (46) provided to the one end (23m) side of the rear surface part (23) and capable of attaching to the louver (121). Formed in the casing (21) are an inlet (31) provided to the other end (23n) side of the rear surface part (23) and drawing in air in the passenger compartment, and an outlet (33) provided to a position not facing the inlet (31) and blowing out air together with ions generated by the ion-generating part (41). With such a configuration, an ion generator is provided that can emit ions in a desired direction into the passenger compartment.
