Abstract:
Disclosed is an ion generator, wherein a short-circuit current between a high voltage electrode and a ground electrode is suppressed, said short-circuit current flowing on a substrate, and ion generation performance is stabilized. This ion generator is provided with a high voltage electrode (42) to which a high voltage is applied, and a ground electrode (lead wire (46)), and generates ions by means of discharge generated between the high voltage electrode (42) and the ground electrode (lead wire (46)). The high voltage electrode (42) and the ground electrode (lead wire (46)) are separately disposed on different substrate sections (41, 45).
