Abstract:
The present invention relates to an Internet of Things (IoT) device-controlling apparatus and a control method of the apparatus, the apparatus comprising: a first device connection unit which is connected to first IoT devices connectable to an artificial intelligence (AI) device; a second device connection unit which is connected to second IoT devices not connected to the AI device; a memory which stores keywords related to the names of a plurality of IoT devices, and keywords related to respective functions which may be performed by the respective plurality of IoT devices; and a command analysis unit which, when a command is received from a user, specifies, from the received command, a corresponding device and a function to be performed on the basis of the keywords, and transmits an execution command for performing the specified function to the first device connection unit or the second device connection unit in accordance with the specified corresponding device so that the execution command may be transmitted to the first IoT devices connectable to the AI device, or the second IoT devices not connected to the AI device.
