Title:
IOT MONITORING SYSTEM USING VISIBLE LIGHT COMMUNICATION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/088854
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an IoT monitoring system using visible light communication, the system being of capable of collecting and monitoring data by using visible light communication rather than a conventional RF communication system. According to the present invention, provided is an IoT monitoring system comprising: a data collection unit (100) for collecting data measured by respective sensors (110); a relay server (200) receiving, through visible light communication, the data collected through the data collection unit (100), so as to encode the same into packet data; and a monitoring unit (300) for receiving, through visible light communication, the packet data encoded through the relay server (200), so as to decode the encoded packet data and identify and monitor the same, and thus the system can transmit specific information to a specific area and can be utilized even in a place in which radio waves are limited, thereby being applicable to short-range and indoor wireless communication services, and the like.
