Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide an IPTV disaster recovery method, an apparatus, a system, and a set-top box. The method comprises the following steps: determining whether an IPTV main center has a connection fault; when determining that the IPTV main center has a connection fault, automatically connecting a set-top box of a user terminal to an IPTV inter-city disaster recovery center according to a pre-stored address of the inter-city disaster recovery center, so that the set-top box of the user terminal can obtain a live signal by using a center node of the IPTV inter-city disaster recovery center, the center node of the IPTV inter-city disaster recovery center having same configuration with a center node of the IPTV main center, and the IPTV inter-city disaster recovery center, the IPTV main center, and a playing network are configured to stream sharing. The apparatus comprises function modules corresponding to the method. The method, apparatus, system, and set-top box provided in the embodiments of the present invention can ensure that a main center can be automatically switched to an inter-city disaster recovery center when the main center has a fault.
